Ski-in & ski-out hut on the Alpe di Siusi with panoramic views

The Mooshütte is located directly on the ski slopes, next to a cross-country ski run and right on the hiking trails: the ideal place to relax but also to experience exciting moments.

Have you always wanted to stay amongst blooming meadows or glittering snow, framed by the most beautiful Dolomite peaks? Our mountain hut is situated in the middle of the nature reserve of the Alpe di Siusi, between Compaccio and Saltria. Here you can enjoy the peace and quiet, but also have the possibility to plunge directly into adventure.
In winter, the cross-country ski centre and the ski slopes are right next to our hut: just strap on your skis and off you go! In summer you can go on the most beautiful hikes, even a bus stop is only 5 minutes away from our mountain hut.
For small purchases, there are some shops with everything you need in Compaccio. Moreover, we offer fresh bread rolls every morning on request.

Arrival by car

Take the motorway exit Chiusa (German: Klausen) and then follow the main road towards Telfen. Once in Telfen, follow the road signs towards Alpe di Siusi (German: Seiser Alm) and you will reach San Valentino (German: St. Valentin) after a few minutes' drive. Drive straight on after the roundabout and you will finally reach Compaccio (German: Kompatsch). Approximately 2 km after Compaccio you will come to a crossroad where you first turn left, followed by a right, than you will see the Mooshütte on the right hand side after a few metres.
We would like to inform you that you are only allowed to drive to and from the hut with your car during arrival and departure day without restrictions. Throughout your stay you have the possibility to drive the distance from our hut to Compaccio before 10.00 am and after 5 pm.
